FEBRUARY - Effective Relapse Prevention: What Causes Relapse and Strategies to Safeguard Recovery

The news headlines and personal stories involving addiction and relapse are staggering and disheartening. As many as 1 in 10 Americans will experience addiction in their lifetime and, of those, up to 70% will relapse despite receiving treatment.

There is hope.  With effective treatment, we can reverse this trend. In this presentation we will focus on what it takes to sustain long term recovery. Relapse prevention involves much more than days of sobriety, it involves understanding warning signs and vulnerabilities to relapse as well as establishing effective strategies to manage them.
