MAY - Update for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Addiction

In May, Dr. Hal Urschel will review the latest research and options on MAT in terms of alcohol, opioid, cannabis and nicotine addiction treatment. He will also discuss how to effectively integrate MAT within a comprehensive, science-based treatment delivery model including use in dual diagnosis patients.

APRIL - Motivational Enhancement Therapy and Its Role in Addiction Treatment

This April we will discuss the rationale and basic principles of Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) and the differences from other treatment approaches with Megan Aul, LPC/therapist at Enterhealth Outpatient Center of Excellence. 

Practical strategies when utilizing MET will be presented along with how Enterhealth utilizes this modality in conjunction with our other evidence-based treatment for those suffering with the disease of addiction.

MARCH - Addiction Across the Generations
