Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST)
The Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST) is a 28-item self-report scale that consists of “yes” or “no” questions that parallel those of the Michigan Alcoholism Screening Test (MAST). The easy-to-use Web-based interactive tool can help reveal symptoms of drug addiction. As with all the self-assessment tools, especially if the result indicates a “definite” drug abuse problem, talk with your doctor about your drug use.
To take this test, carefully read each statement and decide whether your answer is yes or no. Please select the best answer that reflects how each statement applies over your whole life.
Please note: This test will only be scored correctly if you answer each one of the questions.
* This assessment is not a diagnosis and should not be used as such. Only you can determine if you have an addiction to alcohol and drugs.
