Even though, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the disease of addiction affects nearly one out of every ten adults*, there is not one person that has been exactly where you are now. That’s why first and foremost the treatment at Enterhealth’s Life Recovery Center (LRC) is customized on an individual basis. It is our belief that your unique situation calls for a one-of-a-kind recovery program.

Also unlike traditional treatment centers, which typically focus on modifying lifestyle behaviors alone, the LRC treats the whole person – approaching addiction as a chronic brain disease. This means that we take into account the physical, psychological, neurological, relational, and spiritual aspects of each person. Then, we target those areas using proven methods that blend the most effective traditional therapies with the latest clinical research and innovative psychotherapeutic techniques.

We strongly encourage you to take a closer look at our evidence-based addiction therapies and treatment process in order to better understand the level of care you will receive at Enterhealth LRC – and ultimately, what makes us so very different than other residential addiction recovery care and rehab centers.
Neuro-Therapy
Because addiction can be linked to brain trauma, Enterhealth’s Residential Treatment Facility utilizes state-of-the-art diagnostics of the brain with clinical therapies, using an MRI to assess any damage caused to the brain by alcohol and/or drug use, an EEG to assess risk level of seizure, and neuro-psych testing to check for loss of cognitive brain function. The results of this evaluation enable us to properly identify your personalized addiction treatment plan.
Pharmacotherapy (anti-addiction medication)
Each Enterhealth LRC client is provided access to the latest, most effective anti-addiction medications (Suboxone, Campral, Vivitrol, etc.), which can help not only repair damage to the brain caused by alcohol and drug use, but also significantly reduce cravings – enabling some the opportunity to more fully participate and benefit from treatment. Individual Therapy
The Enterhealth facility is limited to 16 clients, offering an industry-low therapist-to-client ratio of 1:3. This intimate setting allows more focus to be placed on individualized, one-on-one addiction therapy – ensuring each client receives personalized attention from a qualified, licensed recovery therapists with a minimum of two individual therapy sessions per week.
Group Therapy
Enterhealth believes strongly in integrating individualized addiction therapy with group therapy. For that reason we prescribe a balance of various types of both small and large group therapy sessions ranging from 12-Step Program and Relapse Prevention, to those focused on spirituality, emotional growth, problem solving, and health and wellness.
Dual Diagnosis
Clients diagnosed with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders, also known as dual-diagnosis, will benefit from our onsite psychiatrist, private therapists and family therapists – allowing both disorders to be treated simultaneously.
A Wellness & Nutritional Program
Our personalized wellness program includes individual time with a trainer as well as a dietician to address physical and dietary patterns that are recommended for balance and healthy living not just for those suffering from addiction, but helpful in everyday life. Additionally, yoga, massage therapy and stress reduction groups are incorporated to enhance overall wellness.
Relational & Family Therapy Support
Addiction Research suggests that appropriate family involvement and support is a critical component for drug and alcohol rehabilitation. As part of the recovery process, Enterhealth offers individualized family therapy sessions as well as educational support for families in a group setting. Here, clients and family members are taught to rebuild and establish healthy relationships by learning how to assertively communicate feelings and needs. This allows clients and families to develop a connection with others, creating a strong support system for their addiction recovery and life-long sobriety.
Twelve-Step Beliefs and Traditions
The traditional 12-step program therapy is based on the Alcoholics Anonymous treatment model. In addition to daily twelve-step groups, Enterhealth offers support for spiritual development via spirituality groups, meditation, yoga and other holistic methodologies that create a better life balance with hope and meaning.
Cognitive-Behavior Therapy
Enterhealth addiction therapists embrace the coping strategies associated with cognitive-behavior therapy as it relates to alcoholism and drug addiction, including identifying negative thinking patterns and establishing new positive patterns, as well as how to recognize and avoid situations that may cause relapse.
Relapse Prevention
At Enterhealth, we believe in learning from mistakes. For that reason our therapists not only educate clients on the triggers associated with addiction relapse in order to detect and prevent them, but also teach coping skills designed to minimize the negative effects should a relapse occur. This helps ensure a better chance at long-term sobriety.
