“Before arriving at Enterhealth, I was a very broken person who did not care one bit whether I lived or died.  I was lost, confused, angry, frustrated and filled with fear and pain.  I had no hope, my life was completely unmanageable.  I was full of negativity and I felt like a failure.  I hated myself for who I had become and the mess I had gotten myself into.  I truly believe God played a big role in the events leading up to my arrival at Enterhealth.  My children found me in bed on day on the brink of death.  With their love and God's guidance, they acted immediately and found Enterhealth.  I had been in and out of rehabs and have quit and detoxed on my own many times only to relapse again and again.  In all my searches for the perfect rehab, I never came across Enterhealth.  But when it came to life or death, Enterhealth was the first place that came up on my daughter's internet search.  I was unaware of what was goin on but I did not put up a fight as my children put me in the car.  Before I knew it, we had arrived at Enterhealth.  At first I was reluctant and thought I was not where I needed to be.  But once I got through detox and was able to function, I knew I was at the right place.  From that moment, my life has been forever changed.  There is not another substance abuse treatment facility that compares to Enterhealth.  I could not be any more honest when I stay that the staff at Enterhealth are people that genuinely care about each and every client.  I will forwever be indebted to every single staff member from the Doctors to the housekeepers.  I have never felt better taken care of.  I was not only educated about my chronic pregressive disease but I also learned how to manage it.  I learned all the tools I need to manage it and stay sober.  Furthermore, not only did I learn about the disease of addiction but I learned so many life skills.  I literally came to EH stumbling in and left there literally walking with my head held high in a 5K charity walk called Dash for Dignity.  I learned that giving back is what life is all about.  I walked away from EH with more than I ever thought.  I could have a relationship with God, love, contentment, spirituality, friendship, faith, passion and gratitude.  I feel like EH will always be with me and from that comes great strenght.  To all the staff, thank you for the amazing gift of a second chance, life and sobriety.  A big thank you to God and my family also for making it possible for me to get such an amazing gift.” - Lissa H.
