Dr. Harold C. Urschel III, MD, MMA – Chief Medical Strategist
Dr. Urschel is chief medical strategist at Enterhealth, LLC and one of the most influential and coveted speakers nationally on substance abuse and the latest opportunities that exist today to treat the disease of addiction. Dr. Urschel’s comprehensive approach to treating addiction, along with his determination to educate those in the industry who are less than willing to embrace innovative treatment methods, were the impetus to create Enterhealth, an addiction disease management company. He has guided Enterhealth to create the world’s finest residential treatment program for dealing with alcohol and drug addiction, recognized by industry publications, peers, national talk show hosts and even competitors. Dr. Urschel and the clinical team at Enterhealth are currently implementing the most advanced, science-based treatment protocols, incorporating pharmacotherapy into client-centered treatment plans that address the psychological, spiritual and relational aspects of addiction.

Dr. Dante Burgos, MD - Medical Director
Dr. Burgos is responsible for delivery of withdrawal stabilization and detoxification, medical and psychiatric dual diagnosis and pharmacotherapy treatments at Enterhealth Ranch. He has 17 years of extensive experience directing psychiatric and substance abuse programs and before joining Enterhealth was a partner of the Burgos-Holiner Psychiatric Group and served as medical director for Adult Psychiatric Services at Medical Center of McKinney. Dr. Burgos has held medical directorship positions with the North Central Medical Center in McKinney, Texas; Green Oaks Hospital in Dallas; Living Hope Texarkana in Arkansas; East Alabama Medical Center and other institutions.
Dr. Burgos completed residency and fellowship training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he was elected chief fellow of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship. A Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Burgos is board certified in adult psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. He is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Burgos is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Kenneth I. O'Krent, Ph.D. – Clinical Director
With more than 25 years of experience in psychology, Dr. Kenneth O’Krent, serves as clinical director for Enterhealth. O’Krent previously worked for Cigna Behavioral Health where he oversaw the clinical management of detoxification and other structured programs for alcohol, sedative and opiate dependent patients, as well as the direction of care for severely mentally ill children, adolescents and adults. Prior to Cigna, O’Krent was a clinical psychologist for Fulbright and Associate’s Neuropsychology Clinic in Dallas. Other previous positions Dr. O’Krent held include administrator of clinical development for Shiloh Home, Inc., in Littleton, Colo., and clinical director for Catholic Consultation Center in San Antonio, Texas.
O’Krent earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and was the first psychologist to graduate from the Houston-Galveston Psychoanalytic Institute’s Psychodynamic Psychotherapy postdoctoral fellowship program.
Shanti Carter, M.S., LPC - Executive Administrator
Shanti Carter serves as the executive administrator at the Enterhealth Ranch. Carter has more than 10 years of experience in management and administrative positions within the mental health industry, including her most recent position as chief executive officer at Cedar Hills Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Other past positions include chief executive officer at the Psychiatric Solutions Inc.’s Desoto, Texas facility and chief operating officer at Millwood Hospital in Arlington, Texas. In addition, Carter has served as the director of the Adolescent Residential Treatment Center at Nexus Recovery Center, as well as the director of intake with several other Texas-based mental health facilities.
A native of India, Carter holds a Master of Arts degree in psychology from Punjab University located in Chandigarh, India. She also holds a Master of Science degree in counseling and guidance from Texas A&M University, Commerce and is a licensed professional counselor.
Kulraj Thind, RN – Director of Nursing
Kulraj Thind serves as director of nursing at Enterhealth Ranch, an Enterhealth Addiction Treatment Facility. He moved to the United States from India in 2002 where he worked as a physician. He received his medical degree from Lugansk State Medical University in Ukraine and his nursing training degree from Excelsior College in Albany, NY. He is currently working on his master of business administration degree in healthcare management. Fluent in five languages (English, Russian, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu), Kulraj spent more than three years as medical officer with the Denton County Correctional Health Department, and currently serves the organization as a medical reserve corps volunteer. Prior to joining Enterhealth, he worked at Methodist Richardson Medical Center.
Sheree M. Isett, LPC, NCC, LPC-Supervisor – Director, Quality Assurance
Sheree Isett is director of quality assurance and the program administrator at Enterhealth Ranch, an Enterhealth Addiction Treatment Facility. She is responsible for keeping Enterhealth compliant with HIPPA laws, audits, other health regulations and financials. She is a national certified counselor and also serves as onsite human resources. She received her master’s degree in counseling from Texas A & M University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas. Prior to joining Enterhealth, she worked as admissions director at the Nexus Recovery Center and clinical director at the Youth Advocate Programs, both in Dallas. She also is a member of the Texas Counseling Association (TCA).
Scott Trout – Director of Support Services
Scott Trout is director of support services and is responsible for supervising wellness and fitness programs and working in dietary and facility operations. Scott received his master's degree in physical therapy from The University of Texas - Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, and a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining Enterhealth, he worked as director of physical therapy at Theracare Home Health in Texarkana, Texas and staff physical therapist at Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas.
