Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST)
The DAST self-test may help you become aware of your use or abuse of drugs. Please note, this test does not include alcohol use. You must utilize the CAGE and MAST tests below to focus on alcohol use. To take the questionnaire, carefully read each statement and decide whether your answer is yes or no. Please click on the radio button next to the answer that best reflects how each statement applies within the last 12 months. For the purposes of this test, drug abuse refers to:
- The use of prescribed or "over the counter" drugs in excess of the directions, and
- Any non-medical use of drugs
Please note: This test will only be scored correctly if you answer each one of the questions.
* This assessment is not a diagnosis and should not be used as such. Only you can determine if you have an addiction to alcohol and drugs.
